Herut Mourns the Passing of Jeff Dunetz

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we mourn the untimely passing of our Director pf Special Projects, Jeff Dunetz.

Jeff was a cherished leader and tireless volunteer. He also represented Herut on the board of the American Zionist Movement. Jeff was far more than his titles — he was a passionate Zionist, a creative visionary, a force of nature within our movement and a dear member of our Herut family.

For years, Jeff volunteered his time and talent to oversee content for our newsletters, holiday campaigns, and special projects. His work helped articulate and spread Herut’s proud message of unapologetic Zionism to Jewish communities across America. He believed deeply in our mission — and you could feel it in every word he wrote, every meeting he joined, and every idea he pitched with that signature spark in his eye.

Jeff gave his heart to Herut, not for recognition or reward, but because he truly believed in what we stand for. And he gave it all — with integrity, energy, and a smile. We are devastated by his loss, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Jeff’s memory will be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his impact will live on through the work he helped build.

Baruch Dayan HaEmet.

May Jeff’s neshama have an Aliyah.
